Welcome to Not Just Brides. By booking an appointment, making a purchase, or hiring an item from our boutique, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your order.

1. General Information

Not Just Brides is an independent bridal and occasionwear boutique owned and operated by Claire Abbott, located in Westbury, Wiltshire.

We offer bridalwear, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, occasionwear, and men’s formalwear for purchase and hire.

Our aim is to provide every customer with a professional, friendly, and personal shopping experience.

2. Appointments

Appointments are required for bridal, prom, and formalwear fittings.

A non-refundable booking fee may apply for certain appointment types, which is redeemable against a purchase.

Please arrive on time for your scheduled fitting. Late arrivals may reduce your appointment time.

Cancellations or reschedules should be made with at least 48 hours’ notice.

3. Orders and Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of ordering to secure your gown, suit, or accessory.

The remaining balance must be paid in full before collection.

All made-to-order items are subject to the designer’s delivery schedules, which will be discussed at the time of purchase.

Once an order has been placed, changes or cancellations cannot be accepted.

4. Suit Hire Terms

A security deposit may be required for all hire items.

Hired suits must be returned by the agreed date in the same condition as received.

Any damage, loss, or excessive wear may result in additional charges or full replacement costs.

Late returns may incur a daily fee.

5. Alterations

Alterations are not included in the purchase price unless otherwise stated.

Not Just Brides can recommend trusted local seamstresses, but alteration services are carried out independently.

All alteration fees are payable directly to the seamstress.

6. Payments

We accept payments by card, cash, or bank transfer.

All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Items must be paid for in full before collection or before being taken from the boutique.

7. Collections and Storage

Customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.

Items should be collected within 30 days of notification unless prior arrangements are made.

Storage beyond 30 days may incur a storage fee.

8. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of formalwear and made-to-order garments, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once an item has been ordered, altered, or collected.

Please inspect your order carefully upon collection to ensure satisfaction.

9. Data Protection

Your personal information is handled securely and used only to process your order, booking, or enquiry.

We will never share your data with third parties without consent, in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.

10. Liability

Not Just Brides is not responsible for:

Delays caused by designers, manufacturers, or couriers

Sizing changes after measurement due to weight fluctuations or pregnancy

Damage or wear caused after collection or during customer use

11. Changes to Terms

Not Just Brides reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website.
